I Don’t Want to Exercise

I don’t want to exercise because I am too old.

I don’t want to exercise because I am short of time.

I don’t want to exercise because I have a family to look after.

I don’t want to exercise because I am too fat.

I don’t want to exercise because I am too thin.

I don’t want to exercise because my knee, shoulder, or elbow hurts.

I don’t want to exercise because I am too busy.

I don’t want to exercise because I travel a lot.

As Natalie rightly says, “we give a lot of names to our excuses, to the reasons we don’t want to write or we’re afraid to. Finally, if you want to write, you have to just shut up pick up a pen and do it. I am sorry there are no true excuses.” The same principles apply to exercising as well, so there are no excuses, whatsoever.

If you have the guts you will definitely say, I don’t want to exercise, for I am lazy. Period. This reminds me of a quote by Akshay Kumar, renowned Bollywood film star. He says, “If you can’t give your body an hour a day to exercise, it is better you die.” What more do you want me to say?

To many of you who don’t want to perform physical exercise know that exercising feels better than all the excuses. Because exercise gives back more than you expected.
