A Message For Newbies
Do not dream big. The journey to gain muscle or lose fat is staggered. It takes plenty of time to transform your body. You have to exercise, fix your diet, sleep well, and avoid smoking cigarettes and consuming alcohol to bring the required change. I know it is not possible all at once but you have to alter your lifestyle, nevertheless.
On the contrary, if you bring all the requisite changes to your life style you are bound to achieve the desired result very soon—14 days. The human body is fascinating. You start eating healthy and exercise regularly, and you will witness great results–you are what you eat.
You can, however, cheat your way to success. Of course you have short cuts. Steroids are used to build muscles and fat burners for weight loss. Everybody wants to be successful in their endeavor. But how is it possible without struggle? It reminds me of what Joe Girard, the greatest salesman, says, “The elevator to success is out of order. You’ll have to use the stairs…one step at a time.” The shortcuts may provide you instant gratification, but you deserve better than that. Don’t fool yourself and embrace complacency. “If there is no struggle there is no progress.” Frederick Douglas. The very nature of man is to evolve and progress.
Dream big if you want to. At the same time, you need to ask yourself whether you have the wherewithal to do so.
